Ingredients
* 400 g gnocchi
* 250 g mushrooms or a mixed variety
* 1 small onion, finely diced
* 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
* 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
* 150 ml water
* 20 g JARMINO Beef Bone Broth Concentrate
* 100 ml cream, cooking cream, or crème fraîche
* 1 handful baby spinach
* 30 g freshly grated Parmesan
* Salt and pepper to taste
* Optional: fresh thyme, parsley, lemon zest
Preparation
1. Slice the mushrooms and sauté them in a large skillet with butter or olive oil over medium-high heat until they are lightly browned.
2. Add the onion and garlic and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
3. Add the gnocchi directly to the pan and cook briefly, allowing them to brown slightly.
4. Stir in the water and JARMINO Beef Bone Broth Concentrate until fully dissolved.
5. Pour in the cream or crème fraîche and simmer for 5–7 minutes, until the sauce is creamy and the gnocchi are tender.
6. Gently fold in the baby spinach and let it wilt for a moment.
7. Stir in the Parmesan and season with salt, pepper, and optionally some lemon zest.
Serving suggestion
Serve garnished with fresh parsley, extra Parmesan, and a sprinkle of black pepper for an extra flavor boost. If you want to boost the protein, simply add some sautéed beef strips or chicken.
